This makes me cry. I know a couple of African American pagans here in Seattle and I hope their experiences are so much better than these, but I fear they might not be. I am even more grateful than previously for their additions to the community. One of them carried Apollo in the Eleusinian mysteries this year, I will never see Apollo without his touch again. I wish I new how to make diverse folks feel more welcome without it being weird…
